The
ORB Encyclopedia: A Topical Index
For all practical purposes, the number and
variety of elements that will compose ORB is unlimited, and their
nature will change as technological capacities and instructional applications
increase. For the moment, however, it is essential to provide a basic
core collection. The categories listed below were established by consensus
among members of ORBit as those needing immediate attention. In the
course of time, new categories will be established and present ones
elaborated. It is intended that ORB should serve all aspects of medieval
studies, so the present list merely charts the initial leg of a very
long voyage.
