Arthuriana on the Web
Compiled by Norman Hinton
- The Arthuriana Site
The official journal of the North American
Branch of the International Arthurian Society (IAS/NAB, as we put it)
-
Tom Green's "historicity" site
A marvelous up to the minute summation of current scholarly thinking on the topic, by one of the
foremost Arthurians
-
The CAMELOT Project
Alan and Barbara Lupack's wonderful collection of
good texts, etc.
- Arthurian Materials
John Doherty's annotated bibliography of on-line Arthurian materials (this is
the newest URL). Quoting him, it is "selective", but it is very useful.
- The Charrette Project
An amazing study of the tests, background, and criticism of
Chretien de Troye's Le chevalier de la charrette, done by the finest
authorities.
- Celtic Studies
An individual work which should *NOT* be overlooked -- great fun and
very educational, billed as "Celtic Studies Resources from an
Opinionated Digital Medievalist" (who is Lisa S. Spangenberg)
- "The Dark
Ages"
The site is usually on the side of the angels, but has a sort of
"y'all come" which invites the weirder approaches as well as the more
normal, and doesn't want to offend anyone (and has some twaddle about
the Dark Ages at the front end which can easily be skipped)
